How I revived my business with email marketing

A few months back, I noticed that my company seemed dead. Though we had enough money to pay salaries and settle our monthly bills - there was no growth. It was like being on a treadmill. I decided to glance at my email analytics for hints. My newsletter records good click-through rates, I also get high engagement with my readers and many of my offers convert to sales at a healthy rate. so what then is going on?

A closer look, however, revealed I was losing subscribers. I usually don’t sweat over unsubscribers, It’s a fact that a reader’s interests is subject to change, Hence, Unsubscribes are part of the game. What disturbed me was that I wasn’t replacing them with new subscribers. I knew that if the trend continued, my business could wither like a spring flower.

What was my technique? Prepare an introductory webinar on an exciting subject that will interest those in my target markets. Schedule it a few weeks in the future. Then start pushing it — that‘s where the list-building potential comes in.
